Terms of Service
Last updated June 5, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Flipvo, LLC (“ballparkly,” “we,” “us”). They cover how you use ballparkly.com and the ballpark estimates and lead services we offer. By using ballparkly, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
What ballparkly is
ballparkly is a free tool for homeowners. You snap a photo of a home repair or project, and we use AI to give you a rough cost range — a “ballpark.” If you want, we can also connect you with a local contractor who can give you a real quote.
We are not a contractor. We don’t perform repairs, inspect your property, or supervise any work. Any contractor you connect with through ballparkly is an independent business, not our employee or agent.
The estimate is a ballpark, not a quote
Our estimates are rough ranges generated from a photo and a few details. A photo alone can’t capture everything that affects price, so a ballpark can be off by a wide margin — often 30–50% or more. It is not a quote, a bid, a guarantee, or professional advice. Always confirm real pricing with a licensed local pro before you make any decision or spend any money.
We give you a range (never a single number) on purpose, because the honest answer is a range. We don’t promise the actual cost will fall inside it, and we’re not responsible for decisions you make based on a ballpark.
For homeowners
Getting a ballpark is free, and you don’t need an account. When you choose to save your ballpark or ask to talk to a pro, you give us your contact details and a few project details.
When you opt in to talk to a pro, you agree that we may share your contact information and project details with one local contractor, who may then contact you by phone, text, or email about your project. We share your details with a single, exclusive pro — not a marketplace of bidders.
- You confirm the information you give us is accurate and that the contact details are yours.
- You consent to be contacted by the matched contractor about your project. The contractor sets its own pricing, terms, and scheduling — any agreement for work is strictly between you and that contractor.
- If you provide a phone number, you consent to receive calls and text messages about your project (see our SMS terms below). Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out of texts.
- You must be at least 18 and a U.S. resident to use ballparkly.
For contractors
If you create a contractor account, you’re telling us you’re authorized to act for a legitimate, licensed (where required) business. You agree to use the leads we send you fairly and lawfully, and to contact homeowners only about the project they asked about.
Leads cost money. By adding a payment card and accepting leads, you authorize Flipvo, LLC to charge that card for the lead fees and any subscription you sign up for — on a per-lead basis, a recurring monthly basis, or both, as shown to you when you enroll.
- Billing. You may be billed per lead delivered, on a recurring monthly subscription, or a combination. The current fees and billing model are shown in your account before you’re charged.
- Payment authorization. You authorize recurring and per-lead charges to your card on file (processed by Stripe) until you cancel. You’re responsible for keeping a valid card on file.
- Exclusive leads. We aim to deliver each lead to a single contractor. We don’t guarantee any lead will convert into paid work, or that any homeowner will respond.
- No refunds for a homeowner who simply doesn’t respond or hire you. If a lead is clearly invalid (e.g. fake or wrong category), contact us and we’ll review it in good faith.
- Acceptable use. Don’t resell or redistribute leads, contact homeowners about anything other than their project, or use the homeowner’s information beyond fulfilling their request.
- Cancellation. You can stop receiving leads and cancel your subscription from your account. Cancellation stops future charges; it doesn’t refund fees already incurred.
SMS / text messaging
If you give us a phone number, you may receive text messages from ballparkly or the matched pro related to your project (for homeowners) or about leads and your account (for contractors). Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of further texts and HELP for help. Opting out of texts won’t remove you from email about an active project or account.
Acceptable use
- Only upload photos you have the right to share, and don’t upload anything illegal, harmful, or that infringes someone else’s rights.
- Don’t misuse the service — no scraping, automated abuse, attempts to break security, or interfering with other users.
- Don’t use ballparkly to harass anyone or to send unsolicited marketing.
Your content and our content
You keep ownership of the photos and details you upload. You give us permission to use them to run the service — to generate your estimate, improve our product, and (if you opt in) share project details with a matched contractor. The ballparkly name, site, and software are ours; please don’t copy or reuse them without permission.
No warranty
ballparkly is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We don’t warrant that estimates are accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any contractor will meet your expectations. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Flipvo, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any lost profits or losses arising from your use of ballparkly, your reliance on a ballpark estimate, or any dealings between homeowners and contractors. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim — and for homeowners, who use the estimator for free, that amount is $0.
Because work, pricing, and outcomes are between homeowners and independent contractors, we are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or pricing of any work performed.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the “Last updated” date at the top. If a change is significant, we’ll try to give clearer notice. Continuing to use ballparkly after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be handled in the courts located there, unless the law requires otherwise.
