Pressure washing in Corpus Christi

Corpus Christi's water utility once pitched its treated wastewater for wash day. In January 2025, with the city under Stage 3 water restrictions, the City announced a drive-up station at the Oso Wastewater Treatment Plant. It would hand out up to 20,000 gallons of Type I reclaimed water a day, which the City called suitable for residential landscape irrigation, power washing or other residential applications.

The program page reads narrower now. It lists Type I uses as lawn and landscape irrigation, garden watering, athletic fields and public parks, and it says the water can't be used for drinking or food preparation. Power washing isn't on that list. Every customer needs an approved permit first. Containers have to be leak-proof and marked non-potable, and the filling station at the Oso plant runs weekday afternoons from 1 to 5 and weekend mornings from 8 to noon, or until the day's supply runs out.

The City cut back on its own washing first. In early December 2024, its departments reduced non-essential outdoor water use, and the list included park irrigation, fountain operations and pressure washing at City facilities.

Questions homeowners ask

How accurate is a photo estimate?
It’s a ballpark, not a quote. A photo gives us a good read on the surface and how dirty it is, but a pro who sees the whole property will always be more precise. Use our number as the range to expect before you start calling around.
How is pressure washing priced?
Mostly by the square footage and the surface — a concrete driveway is cheaper per foot than siding or a wood deck, which need a gentler soft-wash. Heavy algae, mildew, or oil stains add to it because they take detergent and a second pass.
Will pressure washing damage my siding or deck?
It can if it’s done at full pressure on the wrong surface — that’s why good pros soft-wash siding and wood. Our ballpark factors in the gentler method for delicate surfaces.
Is this really free?
Yes. No signup, no credit card, no spam. We only make money if you choose to connect with a local pro — and that’s up to you.
What photo works best?
One shot showing the full surface you want cleaned — the whole driveway or the side of the house — gives the best read on the size and how dirty it is.
