Stucco repair costs in Sacramento

Before you change how your house looks, check with the city. Sacramento's Site Plan and Design Review is a planning permit for the outside of buildings, and it's needed before a building permit unless the work is exempt. Replacing stucco with stucco can be exempted on a short form, as long as the new material matches the existing type. That form can't be used in a historic district or on a landmark. If your house is in one of the older districts, plan on the city's preservation review instead.
