Junk removal in Little Rock

Every bulky pickup in Little Rock starts with a call to 311. The city's Solid Waste Services collects items too big for your garbage cart, but only on a pickup you've scheduled in advance. Your first four bulky item or appliance pickups each calendar year come with your service. After that, each extra pickup is billed by the cubic yard on your monthly solid waste bill.

Furniture, mattresses, lawn furniture and large appliances all qualify. Have the refrigerant taken out of a fridge or freezer before the truck comes. Crews won't take construction and demolition debris, car parts, liquid paint, tires, or electronics like TVs, computers and stereos.

For a whole-house cleanout, ask 311 about the Roll-Off Dumpster Program instead. The city drops a 20-cubic-yard container at a spot you agree on and leaves it for three days. Each person gets one delivery per calendar year. A neighborhood association gets eight.

The Little Rock Landfill on Ironton Cutoff takes garbage, yard waste and construction debris, for a charge. Tires aren't allowed there, so the city points you to Davis Rubber for tire recycling.

Electronics have their own stop. The Green Station on South Thayer Street, run by the Regional Recycling District, takes TVs, computers, printers and stereos, working or not, from households only. Goodwill Industries of Arkansas is another option the city lists: it accepts computers in any condition, plus keyboards, mice and monitors.

Questions homeowners ask

How accurate is a photo estimate?
It’s a ballpark, not a quote. A photo gives us a good read on how much there is, but a hauler who sees it in person will always be more precise. Use our number as the range to expect before you start calling around.
How is junk removal priced?
By how much of a truck your stuff fills — a few items cost far less than a full truckload. Heavy or special items like appliances and mattresses add a disposal fee.
Do you handle big or heavy items?
Most haulers do — appliances, furniture, mattresses, construction debris. Let us know in the quick questions so the ballpark includes the disposal fees.
Is this really free?
Yes. No signup, no credit card, no spam. We only make money if you choose to connect with a local pro — and that’s up to you.
What photo works best?
One shot that shows the whole pile, or the full room, gives the best read on how much there is.
