Junk removal in Las Vegas

Las Vegas gets a third truck. Every other week, Republic Services of Southern Nevada, the hauler the city contracts with, sends a separate truck for bulk items, meaning anything that won't fit in your cart. Your route, like Monday A, sets which weeks it comes, and the company publishes a calendar for each one. It even suggests sharing it with your landscaper and pinning it up in the garage.

The set-out rules are short. Nothing longer than 6 feet. No loose trash, so bag or box the small stuff. Pull protruding nails and screws from wood. Wrap a soiled mattress in plastic. Tie tree branches in bundles of 50 pounds or less. Then put everything at the curb, because the crew won't take anything from private property. A pile left behind a side-yard gate stays there. Fridges and anything else with Freon don't go on the bulk truck at all.

If you'd rather haul it yourself, Republic Services customers in Clark County with a current account can drop loads at the Cheyenne Transfer Station or the Recycle Center on West Gowan Road in North Las Vegas, at the Henderson Transfer Station, or at the Apex Regional Landfill off I-15.

What you can't do is leave it out in the desert. Illegal dumping in Clark County gets reported to the Southern Nevada Health District, by phone or through its online complaint form.

Questions homeowners ask

How accurate is a photo estimate?
It’s a ballpark, not a quote. A photo gives us a good read on how much there is, but a hauler who sees it in person will always be more precise. Use our number as the range to expect before you start calling around.
How is junk removal priced?
By how much of a truck your stuff fills — a few items cost far less than a full truckload. Heavy or special items like appliances and mattresses add a disposal fee.
Do you handle big or heavy items?
Most haulers do — appliances, furniture, mattresses, construction debris. Let us know in the quick questions so the ballpark includes the disposal fees.
Is this really free?
Yes. No signup, no credit card, no spam. We only make money if you choose to connect with a local pro — and that’s up to you.
What photo works best?
One shot that shows the whole pile, or the full room, gives the best read on how much there is.
